The former site of the Flag-Presenting Assembly of the Spring Plowing Production Campaign of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic is a cultural heritage site protected by Jiangxi Province and a classic red tourism destination.

The site of the Flag-Presenting Assembly of the Spring Plowing Production Campaign of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic in Wuyang is located within Wuyangwei, Wuyang Village, Wuyang Town, Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. It is the ancestral hall of the Zou family, originally built in 1716, facing east-southeast at a 10-degree angle, featuring a brick-and-wood structure with small blue-tiled roofing, a flush gable roof, and consisting of two halls, one courtyard, and one central open space, covering an area of 756 square meters.

From May 19 to 22, 1933, the Provisional Central Government held the Flag-Presenting Assembly to summarize the experience of the Spring Plowing Production Campaign, recognize outstanding achievements, and spur on the Summer Plowing Movement. The assembly was held in Ruijin’s Wuyang District, which had achieved the best results in spring plowing. During the meeting, Mao Zedong delivered reports such as “On Spring Plowing” and “On Land Inspection,” while representatives from Ruijin County and Wuyang District shared their advanced practices. The assembly distributed documents including the Central Government’s “Letter to Soviet Officials at All Levels on the Summer Plowing Movement” and the “Outline of the Summer Plowing Movement.” Mao personally presented the “Model of Spring Plowing” pennants to Wuyang District and Shishui Township, greatly inspiring and educating the attending delegates. After the assembly, a wave of agricultural production competitions swept through the Central Soviet Area. This meeting played a significant role in promoting agricultural development and advancing economic construction in the Soviet Area. In 2006, it was designated as a cultural heritage site protected by Jiangxi Province.
