Former Site of the Central Executive Bureau of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in the Soviet Area

The Former Site of the Central Executive Bureau of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in the Soviet Area (including the Executive Bureau of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in the Soviet Area) is located in Zaopai Pai, Jinlong Village, Shazhoubaying Town, Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. It was originally a private residence of the Yang family, built during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. The structure faces northwest and is situated to the southeast, featuring an earth-and-wood construction, a flush gable roof, and small blue-tiled roofing. It consists of 32 rooms and three corridor wings, with internal connecting passageways, no central hall, and covers an area of 805.42 square meters.

In January 1933, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions moved from Shanghai to Ruijin and was renamed the Central Executive Bureau of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in the Soviet Area. In April, it merged with the Executive Bureau of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in the Soviet Area, which had relocated from Ye Ping. The bureau included departments for organization, propaganda, workers, and youth work. In addition, industrial trade unions were established for agriculture, labor transport, shop assistants and craftsmen, and state-owned enterprises. In June 1933, the magazine "Soviet Area Workers" was launched. Liu Shaoqi served as chairman, with Chen Shouchang and Chen Yun successively serving as party group secretaries. In July 1934, the office relocated to Shapai in Yunshishan. In 1961, it was designated as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level.
