The former site of the Central Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (Madaoke, Yunshi Mountain) is a cultural relic protection unit of Ruijin City.

The former site of the Central Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (including the Office of the Central Government and the Central Bureau of the CPC) is located at Madaoke, Fenglong Village, Yunshi Mountain Township, Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. Originally the ancestral hall of the Liang family, it was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The structure faces southwest and is situated to the northeast, constructed with wood and earth, featuring a hanging hip roof, two halls with a central courtyard, multiple levels, and side rooms. The wooden parts are carved with dragons and phoenixes, covering an area of 743 square meters.

In January 1933, shortly after the temporary Central Bureau of the CPC in Shanghai moved to Shazhouba in Ruijin, a new Central Bureau of the CPC was formed. The Central Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China is the highest leading body of the Party. It included departments such as the Organization Department, Propaganda Department, White Area Work Department, Women’s Department, Secretariat, Party Affairs Committee, Party Newspaper Committee, and Audit Committee. In July 1934, it relocated from Shazhouba to this site. In October 1934, the Central Bureau, the Office of the Central Government, and the Central Military District were established here to lead the guerrilla warfare of the Soviet-area military and civilians. Comrades such as Bo Gu, Xiang Ying, Dong Biwu, Chen Yun, Chen Yi, Qu Qiubai, Li Weihan, Liang Botai, Chen Tanqiu, Deng Yingchao, and Li Jianzhen once worked and lived here. Subsequently, the Central Bureau was incorporated into the Central Column (Second Field Column) and set off on the Long March with the main forces of the Red Army. After the Long March, the Central Bureau, the Office of the Central Government, and the Central Military District continued to operate here. It was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Ruijin City in 2005.
