The site where Comrade He Long joined the Communist Party

The former site where He Long, Guo Moruo, and Peng Zemin joined the Communist Party is located at the former Ruijin No. 1 Middle School (now Ruijin No. 4 Middle School), currently the Eighth First Neighborhood Committee of Xianghu Town, Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. It is the Lai Family Ancestral Hall, facing south with a slight southeast orientation. Built in 1897, it features three halls and two courtyards, a flush gable roof, and is constructed of brick and wood, covering an area of 849 square meters.

After the victory of the Nanchang Uprising, the revolutionary army marched southward to Guangdong. On August 26, 1927, they occupied Ruijin and were stationed at Mianjiang Middle School. It was here that He Long, Guo Moruo, and Peng Zemin took their oath and joined the Communist Party of China.
