Former Site of the Workers' and Peasants' Inspection Committee of the Chinese Soviet Republic

The Former Site of the Workers' and Peasants' Inspection Committee of the Chinese Soviet Republic is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Workers' and Peasants' Inspection Committee of the Chinese Soviet Republic was formerly known as the Department of Workers' and Peasants' Inspection, established in November 1931 with He Shuheng serving as its first minister. In February 1934, the Workers' and Peasants' Inspection Committee was formed under the Central People's Committee, with Xiang Ying as its chairman.

The Workers' and Peasants' Inspection site is located beside the Red Well in Shazhouba, Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. Its full name is “Former Site of the Workers' and Peasants' Inspection People's Committee of the Chinese Soviet Republic.” In 1999, the original site collapsed due to years of disrepair. In October 2001, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic and the Central Workers' and Peasants' Inspection People's Committee, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate allocated special funds for its restoration. The site’s name was inscribed by the then-Procurator-General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate—[Name], who also attended the unveiling ceremony and personally inaugurated the reopening of the site. The site was named by the Political Department of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate as the “National Patriotic Education Base for Procuratorial Officers.” In 2011, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic and the Central Workers' and Peasants' Inspection People's Committee, the Jiangxi Provincial People’s Procuratorate allocated funds, and with assistance from the Ganzhou City People’s Procuratorate and the Ruijin City People’s Procuratorate, the second renovation was completed by the end of September.

The site houses an exhibition hall covering an area of 218.6 square meters, featuring five display rooms along an 80-meter exhibit line, showcasing over 600 cultural relics and materials in total. The site reopened in October 2001.
