The Jiubao Lan Golden Beach Scenic Area is located at the southwestern tip of Meizhou Island, shaped like a crescent moon hanging over the azure sea. It is the longest, largest, and most enchanting beach on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Travelers from across the nation have praised it, saying: “After traveling thousands of miles along the coast, Meizhou stands out as the best,” and it has also been lauded as the “Oriental Hawaii.”

The golden beach stretches over two thousand meters in length and up to a hundred meters in width. Facing the vast expanse of blue sea and backed by thousands of acres of lush casuarina trees, the beach features uniquely shaped peaks and rugged rocks, a breathtaking display of nature’s artistry.

After paying homage at Mazu Mountain in the northern part of Meizhou Island, travelers who drive to Jiubao Lan feel as if they’ve stepped into a celestial palace or moon cave. With the endless blue waves in front and verdant fields behind, it is an ideal and rare natural bathing spot. The golden sands stretch for several kilometers, wide and flat.
