Summer peak season is here！9 sites in Kinmen National Park extend opening hours

In response to the start of the summer peak travel season, the Kinmen National Park Administration announced today (25th) that nine exhibition halls will have extended closing times, giving visitors more time to explore Kinmen National Park.

The Kinmen National Park stated that from July 1 to August 31, the Rushan Visitor Center, Bicycle Story Museum, August 23 Battle History Museum, President Chiang Ching-kuo Memorial Hall, Shuangli Wetland Nature Center, Jingshui Elementary School Exhibition Hall, Zhaishan Tunnel, Lieyu Visitor Center, and the bicycle rental service in the Lieyu area will be open from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. There will be no lunch break, although the bicycle rental service in the Lieyu area will be suspended from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.

Additionally, the August 23 Battle History Museum’s Shock Theater – simulating artillery battles – will add two extra screenings daily at 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM. The Shuitou Settlement will also provide lighting for the Deyue Building and Huang Huihuang Western-style Building every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, making nighttime visits safer during the peak season.
