The Yilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festival will take place from July 4 to August 23 at the Dongshan River Water Park. Taiwan High Speed Rail has launchedthe “High-Speed Rail Holiday – Children’s Festival Package”which includes round-trip standard class reserved seat tickets, round-trip bus tickets between Taipei and Yilan, and festival admission tickets.

For the one-day “High-Speed Rail Holiday – Children’s Festival Package,” the itinerary covers round-trip standard class reserved seat tickets on the high-speed rail, round-trip bus tickets between Taipei and Yilan (or Luodong), a Taiwan Tourist Shuttle one-day pass, and festival entry tickets. Starting from Zuoying Station, the cost for two travelers (one child and one adult) on a weekday is NT$1,960 per child and NT$2,135 per adult (approximately 56% of the regular price), making the total for a family day trip just NT$4,095.
