Dongbi Village

Dongbi is 28 kilometers from Xiapu County and is a small fishing village by the sea in Sansha Town. It is located about 2–3 kilometers east of the Xiaohao photography spot. Along the roadside, there is a Catholic church. A small path beside the church leads to a seaside cliff in just 3–5 minutes.

This elevated location provides a wide and open view, making it an excellent high point for shooting panoramic views of Dongbi. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also follow a dirt path worn through the rocky terrain that leads down to the shore, where you can take close-up shots of local fisherwomen weaving nets and fishing boats along the beach.

Dongbi, nestled against the mountain and facing the sea, offers a vast view and is an ideal spot for sunset photography. On the beach, a winding waterway cuts through with a small stream flowing, carving out a complex and varied texture. The soft lines glow golden under the sunset’s afterglow, adding vibrancy to the colorful shoreline. The Dongbi photography spot not only captures majestic sunsets but also scenes of fishermen at work, casting nets and hauling in catches, as well as beautiful patterns that resemble “a galaxy descending from the heavens.”

Transportation

Take a bus from the old Xiapu Bus Station (near Beimen Hotel, also known as Beimen Bus Station) to Sansha Town. Buses run every 15 minutes, pass by Dongbi, and the fare is 11 RMB. The journey takes about 50 minutes.
