Xiaohao Village

Xiaohao Village is located in the eastern part of Xiapu County, about 18 km along the highway towards Sansha Town and approximately 12 km from the town center of Sansha. It is traversed by the Shenhai Expressway and Provincial Highway Xiaopu, situated on the coastal protrusion of northeastern Fujian. This area is home to the nationally renowned Mindong Fishing Grounds.

Xiapu is well known for its tidal flat scenery, but Xiaohao is the only place that retains a stretch of sandy beach. Many iconic works featuring Xiapu have been created here. Xiaohao is not strictly a tidal flat but rather a predominantly sandy beach without defined water channels. The freshwater streams flowing down from the mountains form new winding courses after each tide. Under the refraction of various lights, these channels resemble vibrant rainbows from afar. Xiaohao offers endless creative opportunities for photography at any time of year, morning or evening—anywhere there is light, there is an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
