Huazhu Village

Perched high above with a seamless blend of water and sky, Huazhu Village boasts an expansive, unbroken depth of field. The foreground features floating buoys and bamboo poles, the midground showcases stilted wooden houses on fish farms, and the background reveals island silhouettes and sailboat shadows — the entire scene is exquisitely ordered. Huazhu is also the best spot to take in the panoramic view of the Fuyao Archipelago, particularly renowned for its spectacular sunrise. On misty days, the sea is enveloped in light, swirling clouds, soft and dreamlike. The Fuyao Islands appear and disappear like a mirage, captivating in their allure.

Transportation

Huazhu is 40 km from Xiapu and 4.6 km from Sansha Town. It is the farthest photography spot along the eastern route. There are no direct buses from Xiapu to Huazhu; you must first go to Sansha and then hire a car from there, which takes about 15 minutes. You can take a bus from the old Xiapu Bus Station (near Beimen Hotel, also called Beimen Station) to Sansha Town — buses run every 15 minutes.
