Dajing Fishing Village is 40 kilometers from the county seat. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea to the east, boasting beautiful landscapes and outstanding geographical advantages. The Dajing Ancient Fortress has withstood six hundred years of wind and rain and remains largely intact. It is said to be the longest rural ancient fortress in China today and was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit of Fujian Province in 1991.
