Wujun Mountain

Wujun Mountain is located about 20 kilometers east of Guangze County and borders the Wuyishan Nature Reserve to the north. It is commonly known as Monkey Mountain due to a rock formation at its summit that resembles a monkey. With its highest peak standing at an elevation of 1,477 meters, the mountain spans approximately 20 square kilometers and features over 30 peaks of varying sizes.

Wujun Mountain has been renowned since ancient times and boasts over 20 scenic spots, including Wujun Cave, Flying Spring Rock, Immortal Bridge Stone, Giant Python Emerging from the Cave, Divine Turtle Descending the Mountain, Wind-moving Rock, Immortals’ Gathering Rock, Beauty Rock, Couple Rock, Water Curtain Cave, and Incense Burner Peak. The area is crisscrossed with streams, featuring unique landscapes, spectacular peculiar pines and rocks, and is acclaimed as the premier scenic attraction in Guangze.
