The new SLASH series by Japanese artisanal bag brand MSPC and 50-year veteran striped fabric manufacturer SUNBRELLA, launched this summer as their second collaboration, features acrylic cotton that is dyed at the raw material stage. This material retains its vibrant colors even after intense sun exposure and washing. The acrylic cotton offers excellent wear resistance, breathability, and durability, and is additionally treated with water repellent. It also has a 0.25mm waterproof fabric lining to enhance water resistance.

The accessories are primarily made with CORDURA fiber, a trademark registered by INVISTA. The warp and weft are constructed from tough 1000d nylon threads, offering 2–3 times the wear resistance and tear strength of regular nylon. The leather parts are treated with a special grinding process to add a unique glossy finish, which develops a distinctive aged look over time. SUNBRELLA, CORDURA, and genuine leather are combined to create a fresh, unconventional multi-material style.
