The Flying Rock Waterfall in the deep mountain scenic area is majestic, with the waterfall dropping over 100 meters and flowing powerfully all year round, creating a marvelous and spectacular sight. There is also the well-known thousand-acre Guanmi Yellow Pear Orchard in northern Fujian. The Xixi River runs through the scenic area, flanked by lush vegetation and clear waters, making it an ideal spot for water rafting.

The river crosses many lithological boundaries. Flowing from a hard rock riverbed to a softer one, the softer rock is likely to erode more quickly, and the slope at the junction of the two rock types tends to be steeper. This occurs when the river changes course and exposes the boundary between different rock types.
