Wujun Cave

Wujun Cave is the only scenic wonder located on Wujun Mountain, about 20 kilometers east of Guangze County. It borders the Wuyishan Nature Reserve to the north. The mountain is commonly known as Monkey Mountain due to a rock at its summit that resembles a monkey. The highest peak of Wujun Mountain stands at an elevation of 1,477 meters, covering an area of approximately 20 square kilometers, with over 30 large and small peaks. Wujun Mountain has been famous since ancient times, and it features over 20 scenic spots including Wujun Cave, Flying Spring Rock, Immortal Bridge Stone, Giant Python Emerging from the Cave, Descending Divine Turtle, Wind-moving Rock, Immortals' Gathering Rock, Beauty Stone, Couple Rock, Water Curtain Cave, and Incense Burner Peak.
