The Yangtang Liang Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Year: Ming Dynasty

Location: Yangtang Village, Chongren Township, Guangze County

Description: Built in the 7th year of the Chongzhen era of the Ming Dynasty (1634), it retains the architectural style of Ming Dynasty ancestral halls. It has a two-courtyard layout and consists of a gate tower, entrance hall, main hall, rear hall, and other structures, covering an area of 360 square meters. The five-ridge brick gate tower, the front eaves’ rolled shed canopy of the main hall, and the rear hall houses a shrine.

Protected Area: Extending 50 meters outward from the outer walls of the ancestral hall in all directions.

In 2009, the Yangtang Liang Clan Ancestral Hall was designated as a seventh batch provincial-level cultural relic protection unit by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Yangtang Village: Located opposite Rudang Village, it lies 12 kilometers upstream from Zhaili and 13 kilometers downstream from Guangze, surrounded by mountains and situated in the central area. Yangtang Village has a population of 2,581. The cultivated land area spans 4,400 mu, including 1,500 mu used for tobacco cultivation, 60 mu for double-season rice, and the rest for single-season rice. There are over 300 mu of fish ponds, 10 natural villages, 4 chicken farms occupying approximately 322 mu of land, and one incubation plant covering 65 mu.
