Fuzi Building is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Location: Chongren Village, Chongren Township, Guangze County

Introduction: Built in the early Qing Dynasty, it consists of a sedan-chair waiting hall, entrance hall, courtyard, main hall, rear hall, and auxiliary rooms, covering a construction area of 830 square meters. The main hall is grand in scale with a spacious interior; its detailed decorations are exquisite. The rear hall surrounds the courtyard with four halls to the east, west, south, and north, all three bays wide, locally known as the “Cross Hall.”

Protected area: Extends 60 meters outward from the surrounding firewalls.

In 2009, Fuzi Building was announced by the People’s Government of Fujian Province as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

Chongren Village: Chongren Village is located in the northern part of Guangze County and is the seat of the Chongren Township government. Chengsi Highway runs through the village, which is 7 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Gongqing Village to the east, Yangtang Village to the north, Jinling Village to the west, and Xianhuazhou to the south. The village covers an area of 24.6 square kilometers and includes 3 natural villages and 8 villager groups, with 515 households and a population of 1,593. Within the village lies the county-level cultural relic protection unit — the Chongren Ming-Qing Ancient Street, which stands opposite a pre-Shang and Zhou dynasty site.
