Huayang She Ethnic Mountain Villa is located in the northwest of Shunchang County, about 6 kilometers from the county town, covering an area of 0.5 square kilometers. It boasts abundant tourism resources, beautiful scenery, a tranquil environment, and convenient transportation.

First, there are water features: Jiulong Lake spans over 100 acres of mirror-like surface, reflecting Huayang Temple, Giant Buddha Rock, lush green trees, and verdant mountains — a scene within a painting, a painting within a scene. Huayang Mountain has long been revered as an ancestral mountain by locals. As early as the Song Dynasty, it was a place where local officials prayed for rain and enjoyed the scenery. A Song Dynasty county official named Xiong Yu wrote a poem praising Huayang Mountain: “I take up my staff and come to admire the mountain; a stone gate leads the way to a fairyland. Clouds conceal the upright stone, yet it stays damp even when dry; winds shift through the spirit rocks, cooling the heat even in summer.” The infrastructure at Huayang Mountain is characterized by rural charm, ecology, and leisure. Huayang She Ethnic Mountain Villa covers more than 50,000 square meters, including an eco-friendly parking lot of 8,000 square meters, a bonfire area of 300 square meters, a barbecue area of 300 square meters, a swimming pool of 1,050 square meters, and a visitor center of 360 square meters. The She Ethnic Villa itself has a construction area of 3,100 square meters, which includes a hotel of 650 square meters, 13 wooden villa cottages totaling 1,300 square meters (accommodating up to 70 people and serving 200 diners), and a She Ethnic Folk Museum covering 751 square meters with a conference hall that seats 180. The architecture of the She Ethnic Folk Museum and the She Ethnic Villa is classic and elegant, with strong ethnic characteristics. Huayang Mountain Villa enjoys a prime location and excellent transportation links. It is a four to five-hour drive (by car) from cities such as Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Meizhou in Guangdong, and Nanchang in Jiangxi. National Highway 316 and the Yingxia Railway run through Shunchang. It is just a 40-minute drive from the planned Shaxian Airport.
