Beautiful Zhangdun Water Conservancy Scenic Area

The Zhangdun Tourist Area is located in the northern part of Shunchang County, 15 kilometers from the county seat. Backed by Baoshan, the ancestral home of the Monkey King, it is traversed by National Highway 316 and the Futun River, enjoying superior geographical conditions. With 99% of the village roads paved, transportation is convenient, and it serves as the essential gateway to the Baoshan Scenic Area.

Aiming to achieve the goal of building a "prosperous people and beautiful ecology" countryside, Zhangdun Village leverages its excellent natural ecological environment. Focusing on "greening, beautification, lighting, and fragrancing," it has been established as a "four-star" rural tourism operation unit, receiving over 100,000 visitors annually. The village is well-planned, clean, and hygienic, with 80% of its residences having undergone roof and courtyard renovations. The scenic area layout centers around rural leisure tourism and includes attractions such as a theme park of a beautiful countryside, cultural walls, bicycle trails, a nursery garden, a flower zone, Peach Blossom Isle, a lotus and koi viewing pond, a leisure fishing area, and a fruit and vegetable corridor. Tourism service facilities are complete, with six farmhouses, six guesthouses, one distillery, a Nostalgia Museum, an agricultural product exhibition and sales outlet in the scenic area. The visitor center offers various types of bicycles and sightseeing electric vehicles for tourists.
