Xingting Pavilion is located in Guocheng Village, Lanzhen Township, Shunchang County, dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

Guocheng Village: Guocheng Village is situated in the northeastern part of Lanzhen Town, approximately 10 kilometers from the town center. The village covers an area of about 30 square kilometers and includes 11 natural villages and 16 villager groups, with a population of 2,992 spread across 763 households. The village has a total of 64 Party members and a village committee leadership team of 7 members, including 2 women. The village has a total forested area of 31,304 mu, including 13,580 mu of bamboo forest; the total arable land area is 3,153 mu, and the main industries are tobacco, bamboo, and edible fungi (Shiitake and Agaricus blazei) production.
