The Makenglong Kiln Site is located in Shangfang Village, Zhengfang Township, Shunchang County, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Shangfang Village: Shangfang Village is situated southeast of Zhengfang Township, approximately 10 kilometers from the township government and 10 kilometers from Shunchang County. It is a remote mountain village, with the village center at an altitude of 410 meters. The village consists of five natural hamlets: Shangfang, Xiafang, Zhangfang, Zhangyuan, and Suyuan, divided into nine villager groups. The total population is 1,050, comprising 268 households, including 530 males and 520 females.
