Introduction:

The Zhangzhou Jiangdong Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Jiangdong, Jiaomei Town, Zhangzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone. Jiaomei Town lies in the southeastern part of Fujian Province and the eastern part of Zhangzhou City. It borders Xiamen to the east, Longhai to the south, Longwen to the west, and Zhangpu to the north. The region has a mild climate, abundant sunshine, an average annual temperature of 21.4°C, an average annual rainfall of 1686.4 mm, and an average annual total sunshine duration of 1999.2 hours. The natural conditions here are exceptionally favorable, and the environment is pleasant and comfortable.

The scenic area benefits from superior climate conditions and a pristine natural environment. The Beixi River is rich in perch, which not only have a lively and attractive appearance but also offer delicious, tender meat. When winter arrives and migratory birds move south, the area becomes a paradise for birds. Thousands of little egrets and black-faced spoonbills gather here, chirping frequently. When startled, they take flight, creating a swirling wave of white that is a breathtaking sight. In addition, leveraging the advantages of its water resources, the area has developed a landscape pattern of “greenery by the sluice gates and tree-lined belts along the canals.” The scenic area features lush lawns, shaded green trees, and fresh air, resembling a natural green oxygen bar.
