Pubei Mazu Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Pubei Mazu Temple is located in Pubei Village, Jiaomei Town, Zhangzhou City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Also known as "Chongde Hall," it was first built during the Ming Dynasty's Jiajing era (1521–1566). Lin Pinghou, a meritorious figure who contributed to the development of Taiwan, rebuilt the temple in the 18th year of the Qing Daoguang reign (1838) and inscribed his name on the carved stone dragon pillars at the front eaves of the front hall. The temple faces south and consists of a front courtyard, front hall, connecting corridor, and main hall, covering a construction area of 1,490 square meters. The front hall is five bays wide and three columns deep, while the main hall is five bays wide and four columns deep, both featuring a lifted-beam structure and a hip-and-gable roof. This temple has close historical ties with Taiwan.

In 2013, Pubei Mazu Temple was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: extends east and west to village roads, 44 meters south to the fishpond, and 5 meters north to the banana plantation.
