The Eastern Beautiful Zeng Family Western-style Building is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Eastern Beautiful Zeng Family Western-style Building is located in Dongmei Village, Jiaomei Town, Zhangzhou City, dating from 1903 to 1910.

Description: Built between the 29th year of the Guangxu reign (1903) and the 2nd year of the Xuantong reign (1910) of the Qing Dynasty, the building faces south and features a blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles, with a composite structure of stone, brick, and wood. It has a concave-shaped floor plan, with the ancestral hall at its central axis, arranged symmetrically. The front section features a traditional Minnan-style house, the middle part consists of a Gothic-style building, and the rear includes a red-brick arcade. There are a total of 13 buildings with 99 rooms, covering a construction area of 2,627 square meters.

In 2013, the Eastern Beautiful Zeng Family Western-style Building was designated as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit under the eighth batch by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

On October 7, 2019, the Eastern Beautiful Zeng Family Western-style Building was included in the list of the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Protected area: Each side of the building is extended outward by 10 meters.
