Yuxing Building

Yuxing Building is a cultural tourism attraction.

Yuxing Building is located northeast of Yuchang Building and was built between 1969 and 1971. This circular earthen building faces east and sits to the west, covering a land area of 907 square meters with a total floor space of 1,959 square meters. The building has three stories (11 meters high), an outer diameter of 34 meters, and an inner diameter of 18 meters, with 20 rooms on each floor. It features an interior corridor layout and has two staircases and one main gate. The base wall is 0.9 meters thick. Currently, eight households with a total of 25 people reside here.

Shuyang Town: Located in the southwestern part of Nanjing County, Shuyang Town is traversed by Provincial Highway Shanchang and serves as a key border trade hub at the intersection of Nanjing, Pinghe, and Yongding counties. It boasts a unique geographical advantage. The town covers a land area of 184 square kilometers and governs 21 autonomous villages and one neighborhood committee, with a total population of over 30,000. There are nearly 50,000 overseas Chinese, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, making it one of the key hometowns of overseas Chinese in Zhangzhou City.

The town is not only a historic and cultural destination but also one of the key areas in the county where tulou (earthen buildings) are concentrated for tourism.
