The Secret Grassland of Silvergrass Blooms Quietly – A Sunset Photography Spot by the Iron Bridge

Autumn is the season when silvergrass blooms, with its beautiful flower spikes swaying gracefully in the wind, standing tall against the sky. From afar, the entire field resembles a silvery wave, absolutely breathtaking. Located at the southern end of Nanjing Railway Station, at the border between Tainan and Chiayi along the Bazhang River, this secret silvergrass grassland has quietly bloomed. The silvery-white sea of flowers, paired with the sunset by the river and the nearby old Nanjing Iron Bridge, has drawn many photography enthusiasts to capture the most beautiful moments here.

Silvergrass typically grows along riverbeds and riverbanks, with its flowering period around October to November. In the early stages of blooming, the spikes are red, later turning white and light yellow. It is most commonly found on hillsides and abandoned open areas.
