A large Snoopy figure, standing 3 meters tall and weighing 100 kilograms, has recently appeared at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi’s Hsimenting branch in Tainan. It is not only the largest Snoopy figure in Taiwan but also across Asia. The figure has taken up long-term residence alongside the brand’s dedicated store space within the department store. Its debut attracted crowds and drew many tourists for photos and Instagram-worthy moments.

To create a landmark for the Snoopy flagship counter, the team applied to the global headquarters of the PEANUTS comic for permission to produce this large Snoopy figure in Taiwan, which made its debut at the department store in Tainan. Originally designed as a 3D graphic, the figure was hand-carved from Styrofoam, then wrapped with sponge and velvet, taking about a month to complete.
