Xiaochun Building

Xiaochun Building is a cultural tourism attraction.

Xiaochun Building is located to the west of Dongsheng Building and was built between 1967 and 1970. It is a circular earthen building that faces east and west, covering a site area of 1,808 square meters with a built-up area of 3,833 square meters. The building has three stories (11 meters high), an outer diameter of 48 meters, an inner diameter of 26 meters, and 32 rooms on each floor. It features an interior corridor layout, with two staircases, one main gate, and one well. The base wall is 1 meter thick. Currently, 23 households with a total of 112 residents live here.

Shuyang Town: Located in the southwestern part of Nanjing County, Shuyang Town is traversed by Provincial Highway Shanchang. It serves as an important border trade town at the junction of Nanjing, Pinghe, and Yongding counties, boasting a unique geographical advantage. The town covers a land area of 184 square kilometers and governs 21 autonomous villages and one neighborhood committee, with a total population of over 30,000. There are nearly 50,000 overseas Chinese, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, making it one of the key hometowns of overseas Chinese in Zhangzhou City.

The town is not only a historic and cultural destination but also one of the key areas in the county where earthen building tourist attractions are concentrated.
