Yangzhao Building

Yangzhao Building is a cultural tourism attraction.

Yangzhao Building is located to the west of Chaoshui Building and was built in the first year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1875). It is a square earthen building, facing northeast and situated southwest, covering an area of 1,156 square meters with a construction area of 2,775 square meters. The building has three stories (12 meters high), is 39 meters wide, and 34 meters deep, with 26 rooms on each floor. It features an interior corridor layout and has four staircases and one main gate. The base wall is 1.8 meters thick. Currently, 12 households with 86 residents live here.

Shuyang Town: Located in the southwestern part of Nanjing County, Shuyang Town is traversed by Provincial Highway Shanchang and serves as an important border trade town at the junction of Nanjing, Pinghe, and Yongding counties. It boasts a unique geographical advantage. The town covers a land area of 184 square kilometers, governs 21 autonomous villages and one neighborhood committee, with a total population of over 30,000. There are nearly 50,000 overseas Chinese, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, making it one of the key hometowns of overseas Chinese in Zhangzhou City.

The town is not only a famous historical and cultural area but also one of the key hubs for earthen building tourism in the county.
