The Former Site of the Lingye Township Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Committee is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Former Site of the Lingye Township Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Committee is located in Linzhong Village, Hexi Town, Nanjing County, dating back to 1932.

Description: Originally the ancestral hall of the Lin family in the Lingye Community, it was first built during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1573–1620), and was renovated during the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty and the Republican period. The existing structure retains architectural features from the mid-to-late Qing Dynasty. The ancestral hall is a two-courtyard complex with two side wings and a flush gable roof, with an overall plan in the shape of a “convex” character. It has a construction area of 515 square meters and covers a land area of 2,300 square meters. On April 13, 1932, the Lingye Township Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Committee of Hexi Town’s Second District in Nanjing was established here, with Lin Zhenqi as chairman and Lin Jinpai as vice chairman. They led the masses in the struggle for land revolution and supported the activities of the Red Army and the Soviet Area. Over 120 young adults from Lingye Township joined the Central Red Army, and many others enlisted in guerrilla units to carry out underground struggles, composing many heroic and moving chapters of revolutionary history.

Protected Area: 15 meters beyond the drip line of the eaves on the east, south, and north sides, and 15 meters beyond the western shore of the Pan Pond.

In 2018, the Former Site of the Lingye Township Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Committee was designated as a ninth-batch provincial-level cultural heritage site by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Linzhong Village: Located at the source of the West River of the Jiulong River, Linzhong Village in Hexi Town borders Huian, Yongding, Zhangping, and Xinluo counties and districts. The Zhanglong Expressway, National Highway 319, and the Longxia Railway run through the area. It has a mountainous area of 8,960 mu, arable land of 2,300 mu, and encompasses three natural villages—Lintian, Linxi, and Zhulin—as well as 15 villager groups, with a population of 3,017.
