The Nanzhing Shizi Ridge Battle Site is located in Neidong Natural Village, Nanping Village, Longshan Town, Nanzhing County, dating back to 1932. Description: From April 16 to 19, 1932, Chairman Mao personally directed the Shizi Ridge Battle to capture Zhangzhou, which was the decisive campaign of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Eastern Route Army in taking the city. The battle site remains include the former base of the 11th Division of the Fourth Red Army and the mobilization site for the assault team (Neidong Temple), the former oath-taking rally site of the vanguard unit of the 12th Red Army (Duopu Mansion), the main battlefield site at Shiguilun, and the former headquarters of the 45th Division of the 15th Red Army (Fengtian Old Mansion), among four locations. Neidong Temple: Originally built in the late Ming Dynasty and renovated during the Qing Dynasty, it is a suspended-roof structure with two courtyards and side wings, covering a construction area of 345 square meters and a site area of 1,125 square meters. Duopu Mansion: A two-courtyard Qing Dynasty-era hard-roofed traditional residence, with a construction area of 215 square meters and a site area of 375 square meters. The front corridor gable of the mansion retains a Red Army slogan reading “Soldiers don’t fight soldiers, the poor don’t fight the poor.” Shiguilun Main Battlefield Site: Within the core area stretching approximately 1,000 meters from north to south and about 50 meters from east to west from the mountain pass to the mountaintop, military facilities left by the forces of Nationalist leader Zhang Zhen—such as command posts, artillery positions, bunkers, and trenches—are preserved. Fengtian Old Mansion: Completed during the Chongzhen era of the Ming Dynasty (1628–1644) and renovated in the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty (1662–1722), it is a unit-style earthen building covering a site area of 4,386 square meters.

In 2018, the Nanzhing Shizi Ridge Battle Site was designated as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.
