Letu Longhu Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Letu Longhu Ancestral Hall is located in Letu Village, Hexi Town, Nanjing County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Originally built during the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty (1368–1398) and expanded in the 26th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1761), it faces south and consists of a front and rear section with two side wings. The front features a heavenly courtyard enclosed by walls, with a gate tower facing southwest and a crescent-shaped pond in front. The main hall is five bays wide and two bays deep, with a post-and-lintel and through-tenon style roof frame, and a gable and hip roof. A 72-hectare subtropical rainforest remains preserved behind the ancestral hall.

In 2013, Letu Longhu Ancestral Hall was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: The pond extends 30 meters southward, with its eastern, western, and northern boundaries overlapping with those of the Letu Rainforest Nature Reserve.

Letu Village: Letu Village is situated at the border between southwestern and southern Fujian, 3 kilometers from National Highway 319. Both the Zhanglong Expressway and the Longxia Railway run through the village. Letu Village boasts a well-preserved subtropical primary rainforest covering an area of 0.22 square kilometers. It is the only low-altitude primary plant community along China’s coast and also the country’s smallest forest ecological nature reserve to date.
