The Former Residence of the Zeng Clan in Gaogang is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

The Former Residence of the Zeng Clan in Gaogang is located in Gaogang Village, Nankeng Town, Nanjing County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Originally built during the Hongzhi era of the Ming Dynasty (1488–1505), the existing structure is from the Qing Dynasty. It faces north and consists of a front and rear hall with two side wings. The front features an ancestral courtyard, covering a total area of 1,030 square meters. The main hall is three bays wide and three bays deep, with a post-and-lintel and through-tenon style timber frame, a flush gable roof, and corridors on both sides of the courtyard connecting the wings.

In 2013, the Former Residence of the Zeng Clan in Gaogang was announced as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: 25 meters northward from the ancestral courtyard, 30 meters southward, 15 meters eastward, and 10 meters westward.
