The former headquarters of the CCP Southern Fujian Committee was originally the Neiting Public Ancestral Hall, comprising a front hall and main hall, with a construction area of 171 square meters; the main hall features three bays in width and one bay in depth, with load-bearing walls and a gable-and-hip roof. The former site of the cadre training class was originally the Lai Family Ancestral Hall, also three bays wide and one bay deep, with load-bearing walls and a gable-and-hip roof, covering a construction area of 108 square meters.

In 2013, the Former Site of the Tree Sea Revolutionary Base was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.
