The Fangji Chen Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

The Fangji Chen Family Ancestral Hall is located in Fangji Town, Funan County, Fuyang City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

The Chen Family Ancestral Hall is built with blue bricks and gray tiles, featuring heavy beams and a simple, elegant style. It faces south and is laid out in a north-south rectangular shape, consisting of three sections, each three bays wide. The entrance section includes three bays divided into one main gate room and two side chambers. The gate room is slightly higher than the side chambers and is decorated with brick carvings and stone drums as gate ornaments, showcasing simple yet vivid craftsmanship. Both the Minglun Hall and the Ancestral Sleeping Hall are three bays wide and deep, constructed using the “five-beam structure with single-step extensions front and back” method. Their cloud plates, camel humps, sparrow brackets, and beam ends are adorned with wood carvings. These carvings feature expansive compositions and smooth carving techniques, making them fine examples of northern-style architectural wood carvings. The site covers an area of 689 square meters, with a construction area of 269 square meters, and is a mid-to-early Qing Dynasty structure.

In 2012, the Fangji Chen Family Ancestral Hall was announced by the People's Government of Anhui Province as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.

Construction control zone: 7 meters around the protected area.

Covering an area of 56 square kilometers, the town administers 4 residential committees, 16 administrative villages, 88 natural hamlets, has a population of 35,919, and includes 23,542 mu of arable land. It is a typical inland township primarily focused on agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishing.
