Qiqiling Ruins

The Qiqiling Ruins are located about 2 kilometers east of Wanghua Town, on a ridge along the southern bank of the Gu River. The site stretches approximately 500 meters in length and 300 meters in width, with an elevation of 5–7 meters. Within a 2,000-meter radius to the east, south, and west, undulating ridges and hills are interconnected. According to the *Zhengde Yingzhou Annals*, “It is commonly said that Wang Baobao often stationed troops here, erected seven banners, hence the name, and there was a granary at the top of the ridge.” Locally, it is also called “Qiqi Granary” or “Qili Granary.”
