Zhonggang Mosque is located on the east side of South Street in Zhonggang Town, Funan County. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

Zhonggang Town: Located 18 kilometers southeast of Funan County, Zhonggang Town sits at the confluence of the Mengwa Flood Diversion Channel and the Gu River, with Provincial Highway S328 passing through it. The town has a long history, having formed as a market town around the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty. During the Qing Dynasty, it was called Zhongcun Gang, and in the Republic of China period, it was known as Nan Yi Zhen, serving as one of the larger administrative centers in southern Fuyang at the time. It is now a sub-county level town. The town covers an area of 32 square kilometers, governs 18 villages, has 35,000 mu of arable land, and a population of 37,600, including approximately 8,000 Hui people, making it one of the Hui ethnic enclaves in Funan County.
