Ancient Architectural Complex of Pingshan Village

The ancient architectural complex of Pingshan Village is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

The ancient architectural complex of Pingshan Village falls under the jurisdiction of Longjiang Township, Yi County. It earned its name from the Pingshan Mountain located to the north of the village and is also known as Jiudu Shu Village because it was historically part of the Jiudu district of Yi County and predominantly inhabited by the Shu clan. According to records such as the "Practical Records of the Shu Clan Genealogy" and the "Preface to the Shu Family Genealogy" from Pingshan Village, the Shu family of Pingshan are descendants of Shu Zi, the ninth-generation grandson of Fuxi, and migrated from Lujiang to Pingshan at the end of the Tang Dynasty. The settlement has a history of over 1100 years.

Protected Area: West to Yijin Highway, north and east to the village, south to Changning Lake, covering an area of 36.7 hectares.

Construction Control Zone: The entire basin area of Pingshan Village, extending beyond the protected area.

Address: Located at the foot of Jiyang Mountain and Pingshan Mountain, 4 kilometers northeast of Yi County Town.
