1.Person of the Year Yu Lei

2. Outdoor Culture Contribution Award Zhai Mo
As the“National Marine Public Welfare Ambassador”Zhai Mo, president of the Maritime Culture Branch of the China Pacific Society, has dedicated himself for years to exploring and promoting maritime culture. He initiated“the reconstruction of an ancient thousand-year-old Song Dynasty ship,”a project in which he oversaw the rebuilding of the historic vessel and then captained it on a voyage retracing the Maritime Silk Road. Through this world-class sailing event with distinctive Chinese characteristics, he showcased China’s millennia-old seafaring heritage. Moreover, the“Genglubu Cup International Sailing Regatta”that he founded incorporates ancient Chinese navigation techniques using compasses+and sea charts into modern sailing competitions, once again making history in the world of sailing events.

3.Most Influential Annual Event Award: Extreme Sports Included in the2020Tokyo Olympics
for the first time, with disciplines such as rock climbing, surfing, skateboarding,BMXand BMX becoming official Olympic events. The General Administration of Sport of China established a cross-discipline and cross-sport talent selection working group, recruiting athletes both domestically and internationally. By the end of September, the initial national team was formed. In addition, the administration planned to set up special funds to build a number of extreme sports parks and centers nationwide, providing regular and formal training venues for enthusiasts and provincial-level teams. Centered around“building a modern international rural tourism comprehensive demonstration zone,”Strategic goals aim to promote the in-depth integrated development of tourism, ecology, and culture, actively creating experiential and leisure-oriented outdoor bases. It has been successively awarded by the General Administration of Sport of China“Southern Anhui(County-level city)National Sports Industry Base”“China Cycling Association’s Mountain Bike Training Base in Yi County”,“National Outdoor Fitness Activity Camp”,“Youth Outdoor Sports Activity Camp”and other titles. The cycling routes in Yi County have been listed by the General Administration of Sport of China and the National Tourism Administration as a recommended project among China’s top sports tourism destinations.
