Zhuxi Village: Overview of Zhuxi Village

Zhuxi Village is situated in the northwest of Yi County and the eastern part of Hongtan Township, approximately 6 kilometers from the township government and 40 kilometers from the Huangshan Scenic Area. The village covers a total area of 27.19 square kilometers, with a population of 1,165 residents in 365 households. It has 863 mu of paddy fields, 394 mu of dry land, 1,630 mu of tea plantations, 782 mu of mulberry fields, and 35,895 mu of forested land. It is a typical mountainous agricultural village primarily focused on grain, forestry, tea, and mulberry. The village boasts a forest coverage rate of 89.02%, and within its territory lies the Wuxi Mountain Provincial Forest Resource Nature Reserve.
