The Ancient Wells Cluster in the County Town (including ten wells: Sanyuan Well, Xingdun Well, Xiachengjia Well, Xijie Well, Guidunli (Sanyuan) Well, Shangchengjia Well, Wangjia Well, Mingxianli Well, Feijianong Well, and Lianhuatang Well) is located in Guomen, Beijie, and Matian communities of Biyang Town, Yi County, dating back to the Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing dynasties.

Biyang Town: Situated at the southern foot of Huangshan Mountain in the ancient Yixi Basin, Biyang Town lies at the heart of the World Heritage sites of Xidi and Hongcun, just over 40 kilometers from the Huangshan Scenic Area. It serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of Yi County. The town administers 25 village committees and 3 community residential committees, with a total population of 45,000, including 41,000 permanent residents and 4,000 floating residents, covering an area of 120 square kilometers.
