Jiyutang is located in Tachuan Group, Tachuan Village, Hongcun Town, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Tachuan Village: Tachuan Village is situated 15 kilometers northeast of Yi County’s county seat and 3 kilometers from the Hongcun Scenic Area. The area features typical Jiangnan hilly scenery—hills and water intertwined, surrounded by mountains, dense forests, lush green bamboo, birdsong and floral fragrance throughout the seasons, and constant mist, offering an exceptionally inviting environment. The village administers 14 villager groups, with 420 households and a population of 1,183. It covers a total area of 8.66 square kilometers, including 1,336 mu of arable land and 14,600 mu of forested land.
