Yu Huahua and Ye Zeyuan’s Former Residence is located at No. 024, Lianhuatang, in the ancient city area of Biyang Town, Yi County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Yu Huahua and Ye Zeyuan’s Former Residence has been designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

Biyang Town: Biyang Town is situated at the southern foot of Huangshan Mountain, in the ancient Yi Basin, and lies at the heart of the World Heritage sites of Xidi and Hongcun. It is just over 40 kilometers from the Huangshan Scenic Area and serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of Yi County. The town administers 25 village committees and 3 community neighborhood committees, with a total population of 45,000, including 41,000 permanent residents and 4,000 floating residents. It covers a land area of 120 square kilometers.
