Memorial Temple of Clan Yuan

The Memorial Temple of Clan Yuan is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Address: Zhong Village, Changxi Township, She County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province

This temple was built during the Qing Dynasty. It has three courtyards and three bays, with the entrance hall designed in the style of a five-phoenix tower and flanked by tall stone drum gate piers. The middle courtyard’s main hall features beams as long as the bay width, giving an open and grand atmosphere. A fire well is located in the courtyard of the rear sleeping hall. The floor of the sleeping hall has incense windows, showcasing a unique structure. The wooden gate tower has four pillars, three bays, and three stories, is 9.3 meters wide and 8 meters high, with side walls and four wooden pillars supported by backrest stones. It includes moon beams, horizontal beams, bracket sets, high ridges with upturned corners, and red-painted carved patterned door panels. In 2004, it was announced as a Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Anhui Province.

Protected Area: 10 meters to the east, west, and south outside the temple wall, and 10 meters beyond the pool to the north.

Construction Control Zone: 50 meters around the protected area.
