The Former Residence of the Wang Family is located at No. 100 Dabeijie, Huicheng Town, She County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province.

Originally built during the Qing Dynasty, the main building is a two-story wooden structure with three bays, three depths, and two courtyards. The average width from north to south is 9.26 meters, and the depth from east to west is 20.67 meters. The front courtyard is 9.05 meters wide and 3.35 meters deep, the back courtyard is 13.29 meters wide and 8.48 meters deep, the kitchen is 3.83 meters wide and 5.92 meters deep, the side room is 2.78 meters wide and 4.05 meters deep, the stone staircase is 1.32 meters wide and 4.05 meters long, and the total area is 373.91 square meters. The overall architectural style is simple and elegant, reflecting key features of Hui-style architecture. The beam frames, lintels, and wooden components of the Wang family residence are plain yet refined, embodying the stylistic characteristics of Hui-style buildings and serving as a typical example of ancient residential architecture in Huizhou.

The Wang family was known for its generations of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, with a rich heritage of medical scholarship. Each generation produced renowned doctors of Xin’an, and the Republican-era *She County Annals* referred to their lineage as the “Xin’an Wang Family Medicine.” Xin’an Wang Family Medicine holds an important place within Xin’an medical traditions.
