The Xiayangtang Ruins are a cultural heritage protection site of She County.

The Xiayangtang Ruins are located 200 meters south of Xiayangtang Village in Fue She Town, dating back to the Neolithic Age and the Zhou Dynasty.

Fue She Town: As the northernmost town of She County, Fue She Town is situated in the northern suburbs of She County, 7 kilometers from the county seat. The town covers an area of 54 square kilometers, comprising 11 administrative villages and 115 villager groups. It borders the county seat of She County to the south, neighbors Guilin Town to the east, adjoins Huizhou District to the west, and connects with Xucun Town to the north. The town’s name originates from an early Tang Dynasty dam (“堨坝”) built at the village head, which has a strong water flow and abundant water resources, hence the name “Fue She” (meaning “Rich Dam”). The area boasts rich water resources, with the Fu Zi River flowing through the town, and both the Fengle North Main Canal and several branch canals running across the territory. The town has produced many cultural figures and features abundant tourism resources.
