The Fushè River (also known as Liancunè), flows through the village, from which the village gets its name. The fertile and scenic Fuzi River meanders eastward around the village, and the three large dams spanning the Fuzi River are locally famed as the "Golden Bead Masonry Dams." This village serves as the seat of Fushè Town and is the political, economic, trade, and cultural center of the entire town.
