Han Zhen Yun Cui Archway

Han Zhen Yun Cui Archway is a cultural relic protection unit of She County.

Han Zhen Yun Cui Archway is located on Da Bei Street in Huizhen Town. It was built in the 11th year of the Qianlong reign (1746). This is a four-pillar, three-bay, three-story towering stone archway, 6.6 meters wide and 9.4 meters tall. The blue stone beams and pillars are finely carved with brocade patterns, and the inscribed plaque reads “Han Zhen Yun Cui.” It was erected to “commemorate the chastity of Madam Sun, wife of Wu Tinglin.” The lower beam was cracked during an air raid by Japanese planes in the Anti-Japanese War. Currently, the lower part has been built into a residential home and the structure is surrounded by houses. It is also known as the Sun Family Chastity Archway.
