The Hu Family Jinshi Archway is located in Wuchuan Village, Guilin Town, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Wuchuan Village: Wuchuan Village is situated at the eastern gateway of She County. It lies 3 kilometers south of the county seat and 4 kilometers north of the Guilin Town government. Historically, it was one of the three renowned “posts” of ancient She County—Wu San Post. The village also derives its name from the Yangzhi River, which flows from north to south through the area, originally giving it the name “Chuan” (stream), later changed to Wuchuan. National Highway 347 runs through the village, providing convenient transportation. The Cizhang Line and the Huizhou–Hangzhou Road intersect nearby, earning the area the nickname “Golden Triangle.” The village administers 9 natural villages and 11 villager groups, spread out in a strip along the Cizhang Line. It has 1,174 mu of arable land, including 1,074 mu of paddy fields and 100 mu of dry land, as well as nearly 3,000 mu of mountainous land and 3 ponds/reservoirs...
